I am having problems with subprojects respecting our company working hours calendar - specifically, any holiday exceptions assigned to the calendar.
I have set up a consolidated Master Project file comprising of 14 subprojects and I use a separate resource pool to schedule individual tasks.
I need to be able to set exclusions to cover company holidays/vacations (I've covered staff holidays via the resource pool). We close down for Christmas holiday so I wanted to reflect this in my schedule. Not all tasks are resource and those tasks which are are way off into 2018 - too far ahead to assign resource.
I have added the exceptions to the company calendar and assigned this to the individual tasks via the individual sub-project file. When I open the Master Project file to view all sub-projects the tasks respect the links - all is good. However, when close this then open the individual sub-project file the exceptions I have entered are no long there - and task is not respecting the vacations. I've not been having much success with the individual project files respecting the exceptions (vacations).
Could someone please advise what I am doing wrong?
